Our Fibonaccis are designed to be safe for magnetic strip and chip cards. The cards are surrounded by a conductive layer which prevents the passage of electromagnetic waves and fields. Dreem has sold tens of thousands of Fibonacci cases and card damage has never been an issue.

The card pockets on the Fibonacci wallet are lined with material which protects against wireless communications. This is the industry-standard way to provide such protection. Remember to put your cards in the provided card slots as opposed to the cash pocket.

Customers concerned about protecting themselves from EMF can put their Fibonacci case in their pocket or bag so that the card pocket area is between their phone and their body. The RFID-protective material in the card pockets provides approximately the same effect as any “EMF protection” which competitors’ cases might advertise. We don’t put such electromagnetic wave blocking material all around our phone cases because then the phones would not be able to receive phone calls! Competitor’s claims of EMF protection — without warnings that incoming calls would be blocked — should be viewed with suspicion.
